I loved this book! Admittedly it started out slow, a lot of talk, not a lot of action, but once the pieces start to fall together, it really keeps you waiting to see what happens next. In addition, the information on science and global warming has really opened my eyes. I checked the hardcopy out of the library to see some of the footnotes that cite the scientific data - VERY interesting stuff. I really enjoyed the twists and dangers, but the close-minded cultists they threw in once the reader had already 'converted' were annoying. I understand it was used to present even more material refuting the popular opinion, but it was slightly tiresome to hear the same old weak rebuttals from the first half of the book. The ending left a lot of unwrapped ends, however, that I would have liked to see play out. Definitely worth struggling through the first few discs for!
