I found the book a good quick review of quality characteristics rather than anything particularly new. It held some thought provoking moments of which I took advantage for self-assessment. On the whole it was easy, focused listening for me. It was effectively read with enthusiasm by the author.

I was disapointed - this is a book you need to read and study - not listen to.

21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader

After owning the workbook, I decided to listen to this audiobook. It encompasses many "obvious" things. The best way to get the most out of this audiobook is to take each of the 21 "qualities" and spend at least 1 day on each. However, I did not have, nor desire to take, the time to do this. Therefore, I listened intensely over the course of about a week. I found it a little overwhelming and repetitive at times. In addition, I probably could have narrowed it down to the 12 Qualities. Overall...ok.
