If you are interested in this book go to the source and read Machiavelli's 'the prince'. Basically this whole book says to be successful be a jack ass. I have just saved you all those hours.

this is it?

This is a good introduction to the principles and a great way to get a good start on some of these things. I think after this, that it might be worth going to a seminar. I don't know if I'd read the entire book or listen to the unabridged version. Again, this is a great way to get a quick start on the habits.

Hill's Disciple

Stephen Covey is good ... but he is repackaging for you the work of Napoleon Hill. Most people find Covey easier to listen to than Hill, so give it a shot. But this book isn't so much about success in achieving big goals as it is about living a principled and balanced life.

Copy Cat

Stephen Covey has focused and rephrased 7 of Napoleon Hill's "keys to success". I don't know that this will help you become a corporate tychoon, but it may help you live a better, "principle centered" life.

This is great abridged version of a fantastic. Covey does a great job reading the book. I'm a big fan and am glad I listened.

A little too Professor like

It's an interesting book. Though it seems to be written by a professor for a professor. The language is not for the "common man".

Something missing in this abridged version. I think this book is best read in it's entirety.

I will never again listen to an abridged version of ANYTHING. It was a waste of my time. This book should never have been recorded in an abridged version. There is entirely too much useful information that is not given in this completely useless CD set. In fact, the only reason why I gave this 1 star out of 5 stars is because "zero" is not an option.

I tried to read this book, then ordered the cd. I enjoyed the cd much more. I didn't get bogged down with the Cd like the book did. I also enjoyed his storeies and examples from the CD more than the book. For anyone who has attempted to read the book I would recommend the cd.
