This book was all theory with little examples which made it boring and hard to follow.
I am making the rounds of the finance books. I must admit this one was hard to follow. It is very theoretical in nature (to Mr. Soros' admission), and difficult to follow as he seeks to weave his principle of "reflexivity" throughout. I did not finish it.
Very dry. This was the only book on cd that I was unable to finish for fear of falling asleep at the wheel. The material was very philosphical about eceonomic theory and that combined with the monotone of the reader made Alchemy of Finance a threat to my ability to stay awake behind the wheel.
it was all right, I did not enjoy it much, but had some good information.
Very technical and theoritical. I spent more time in the dictionary trying to understand what George was communicating. I don't know that I learned much about the market, but did learn to extend my vocabulary.
