James Dobbins has held a variety of White House and State Department positions under four presidents. He has served as a special envoy for Kosovo, Bosnia, Haiti, Somalia, and most recently Afghanistan. While this lecture was good, it would have been more enlightening to have heard the speaker's work recorded, rather than just the lecture. Just the same, this was very thought-provoking on both sides of the political aisle.
