Overview

From the day Brian Cruver began his job in March 2001 with one of America's most highly valued companies to the day nine months later in December when he and his colleagues were given 30 minutes to leave Enron headquarters, Cruver found himself enmeshed in a business cult that each day grew only more bizarre. Here, Cruver presents a cautionary tale of corporate greed.

Now I know what happened

This book really helped me to understand what happened at Enron. I do not work in the energy or financial markets, but learned a great deal about both - I think it's a valuable read for people in any field. The author tells a compelling tale of his experience of working on the inside as the company began to unravel.

This is my third Enron Book. Somehow the first two could not convince me that such a tall house of cards could be built without someone finding out and saying "Hey you can't do that" This is a great book. The author is a rank and file employee. He has an MBA but comes across as your average Joe. Highly recommend.
