There are 3 components to this lecture, the quality of the recording, the lecture, and the musical illustrations. The quality of the recoridng is spotty as they obviously had a single mic and weren't prepared for the movement of the lecturer - too bad. The lecturer was very good, 5 stars, for knowledge, clarity of presentation, and enthusiasm. The illustrations were appealing when he did them, and disturbingly off-pitch when performed by the "pro". Perhaps non-singers wouldn't be as distressed as I, but her singing was painful, and I fast-forwarded through after the second attempt. It wasn't a recording issue, because his singing was fine. No stars for her.
