Overview

New York Times best-selling author Laurie R. King captivates audiences with her irresistibly suspenseful novels. She has also won tremendous critical acclaim, earning Edgar, Creasey, Nero, and Macavity awards for her work. The Art of Detection is another spellbinding tale starring San Francisco homicide inspector Kate Martinelli. The victim is Sherlock Holmes aficionado Philip Gilbert, whose collection of priceless memorabilia is definitely worth killing for. It’s up to Kate and her trusted partner Al Hawkin to follow the clues and bring a rather peculiar murderer to Justice.

I really enjoyed this story. I use these to commute and find myself sitting in the car for an extra couple of minutes just to hear a little more.

This was an exceptional book...great to listen to and easy to follow, even though it is like a book within a book. I highly recommend it!

Did not like this book. Probably won't be able to read anything about Sherlock Holmes now!

Excellent book, kept me guessing to the very end! I have read the other books by this author and all of them are great mysteries.

This may be a good story. The narrator has a non-expressive voice. Even though I listened to the whole book, I missed the story.
