Overview

“With Being Martha I will reveal sides of Martha Stewart that have not been seen. I am a friend and former neighbor, and I am partial to her. My closeness to Martha over the years has provided me with access to her family, her friends, and her coworkers of many years: Martha’s inner circle, those who know the real Martha.”—Lloyd Allen

Being Martha is based on a collection of remembrances of Martha, past and present, that redress misconceptions about her and present a fuller portrait of a complicated and fascinating woman.

This book is "the other side of the coin". It is refreshing to be given the non mass media version of Martha Stewart. You will find out that Martha accomplished a lot more that is commonly known and that she helped many people along the way. It is well written and well read. For people who like: Biographies, food, business.
