This is a great listen but best to order the Forsythe series in order. McKinity has become one of my favorite authors. He is a bit dark but not without humor and mixes his writing style well. He moves fluently from prose, to comedic to political in a way that is very appealing.
Michael finds himself in the the thick of things, and once again involved with Bridget. McKinty continues the story in fine style. It was a little bit predictable, but I think that's probably because I've gotten to know Michael so well through the first two books. I can still hear the narrator's voice, which I love and am so glad he continued through the whole trilogy. I'm sad to see the end of Michael's journey, although maybe McKinty will bring him back at some point. A great trilogy, bloody, violent, but with a protagonist with a heart of gold.
