An easy and enjoyable listen. I pictured the whole thing happening at a well known spa that I frequent also in the Berkshires and it added to the fun. Ironically, I was not in love with the narrator as she is a terrific actress, but do not let that stop you. An overall good experience.

So-so story.

The story was, "ok." I didn't bond with the characters and it all seemed to lag.

This book is mostly boring. I listened to it but I was glad when I received the book.

The plot has a few twists and turns, and overall is well thought out. Bailey Weggins is an appealing central character and the author's descriptions were colorful and complete. Not a piece of classic literature (and doesn't present itself as such); but an entertaining and engaging listen. I would recommend.

I too felt the story dragged on, but Bailey was such a fun character that I didn't mind. At first, I was taken aback by the modern spin on the heroine, I guess I was expecting something a little more old fashion, such as Agatha Christie's characters, but after I got used to the slang and the modern views I really liked Bailey. I thought the reader did a really good job at keeping the voices entertaining as well. Though I suspectd the person behind the crimes, I still think the author did a good job concealing this fact until the last minute. It was an entertaining listen and I'll make it a point of hunting for more Bailey Weggins stories in the future.

Fun and light with a wonderful narrator. No great plot twists, but I enjoyed this.

I could just envision the author as she wrote this book: she would describe a scene or an idea, then get "writer's block", then have a glass of wine, then have an idea for another scene. Although the book was pretty interesting, it seemed to ramble along, from one scene to the next. The end really came from left field (or beyond) and I found it about as believable as stories of the abominable snowman...gk
