I thought this was a great listen/read; the characters come to life quite quickly and I found it easy to get settle in the town and people, some really aggravating me ..which is a sign of a good book to me. So wonderful to not have to deal with profanity, trash and jumping in and out of bed...you get the gist. I gave only three stars because the mystery was lacking; not a page turner at all but I would try another book by this author. Christian mystery/suspense are so wonderful and so many out there now SB needs to get more. But they have the best selection of any online audios so this is where I can stay to listen for awhile.

Pretty terrible! I didn't know that this was an "uplifting Christian book". This may be a good book for a 14 year old in a bible study class, but it doesn't belong with adult suspense and mystery selections.
