This is a first class veiw of a long lost battle. Told by a Ronald Reagan fan. You got to hear it.

The book should have been titled Ronald Regan. I love Regan but I feel it should have had much more history of Pointe Du Hoc than of President Regan.

Douglas Brinkley is a professor of history at Rice University and a contributing editor at "Vanity Fair". "The Chicago Tribune" has dubbed him "America's new past master." Seven of his books have been selected as "New York Times" Notable Books of the Year. "The Great Deluge", his account of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath, won the Robert F. Kennedy Book Award. He lives in Texas with his wife and three children.
