Overview

On a rainy Southern night, Jade Sperry endured a young woman's worst nightmare at the hands of three local hell-raisers. Robbed of her youthful ideals and at the center of scandal and tragedy, Jade ran as far and as fast as she could. Someday, somehow, she'd return--exacting a just revenge, freeing herself from her enemies' grasp, and, perhaps, fulfilling a lost promise of love.

This book kept my attention right up til the very end. I loved it. I normally only listen in my car, but found myself wanting to hear more so I brought the CD's into the house to listen more. If you like Sandra Brown's other books, this is one for you.

Sandra Brown is a favorite author of mine. Her character development is amazing as is her ability to draw you into the story. All the twist & turns really keep you guessing. I would highly recommend this book.

Breath of Scandal gives an accurate account of the psychological impairment which can occur to some women subjected to the trauma of being raped - singly or gang perpetuated. Jade's anger and need for retribution, which she achieved in this novel, was excellent for a fictional achievement.

What a fabulous book... I really loved this. I am a huge fan of Sandra Brown and this was her at her best. I really warmed to the characters and was intrigued by how the two different story lines would come together. I have no hesitation giving this book 5 stars and would highly recommend it.
