I really tried to give this book a chance. I managed through over half of it but finally had to stop listening. The reader was terrible, monotone and seriously lacking the skills of the more successful audiobook readers like Scott Brick or George Guidall. On top of the boring reading, the book itself was not very exciting and I found myself thinking about other things while listening. I found that I didn't care about the characters or what happened in the story.
"Dale Brown is the author of fourteen New York Times bestsellers including Flight of the Old Dog and, most recently, Wings of Fire. A former U.S. Air Force bombardier, he is an instrument-rated private pilot and can often be found flying his own plane across the United States. He lives near Lake Tahoe, Nevada."
