I found the Irish accent difficult to listen to in the evening. It took some of the enjoyment away from the book.
The second book in the Michael Forsythe trilogy is just as funny, insightful, gory and terrifying as the first. I so much appreciate Gerald Doyle's reading and thank the production company for retaining him for all of McKinty's books. Wouldn't be the same without Doyle. Forsythe once again finds himself the reluctant thug, this time a "good guy" working for the FBI. Absolutely riveting. I hear Doyle's voice now all the time!
