I enjoyed the narration of this collection, it certainly gave me more insight into the characters than I would've been able to infer from reading the book. However, I guess I need a course in James Joyce to understand the point of most of the stories. He certainly doesn't hit you over the head with the message. Some of the stories just seem to stop, with no discernable reason why they stopped at that point. Get this if you enjoy listening to an exquisite collection of Irish accents, or have a literary history degree.
