Overview

American love and marriage can take on many forms, but the basic binding tenets are the same. For Steve and Cokie Roberts, more than 35 years of marriage have been based on their commonalities rather than their differences, such as gender or religion. Cokie, who is Catholic, and Steve, who is Jewish, were counseled by friends 35 years ago not to marry given their religious differences. An entertaining conversation about marriage and politics. Recorded in the middle of the 2008 election if I remember correctly. Therefore, it's a little out of date, but it is an interesting perspective.
