I did enjoy the story, as did my children, but the reader was really awful. I couldn't wait to finish the discs to be rid of the reader. I think I would have enjoyed the story much more had it had a different reader. His tone and inflection was awful. I might get the kids to read the series, but I couldnt' stand to listen to it.
Great listening... Wish we could get the rest of the series on audio... WIll have to go buy it, it will be worth the cost.
Great Book and Storyline. Wish it had a better reader. I felt like i was being read to a little child with the funny vocal inflections.
This appeared to be a very good story, but I could not get past the first disk because of the reader. To me, it sounded like it was being read for a 3 year old. I will read the book, but I will never listen to the audio book.
WOW! Mythical beings: fairies, witches and naiads, and all of those dangerous others, what a trip. You want to read/listen to this one. - Author, T V Vessels Jr
This will definately fill your post Harry Potter void. I loved this book! The magic is big. The kids are sassy, and funny. The characters are interesting. The magical creatures are many, and the action is great. The author has set up a great world, and could generate many books to come. The sequel to this book is even better, because the magic and action start up again on page 1.
