There is a lot of depth to this man that does not begin to appear on the movie screen. I think he was born to greatness and really knew how to polish his gifts along the way. The book really does not sound self-serving. Some of the negative aspects are discussed also. I don't think you will ever view him the same after this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the phenomenon of Arnold. The book seemed incredibly well researched, although definitely pro-Arnold. The narrator's "Arnold" accent was extraordinary, and added greatly to my enjoyment of the book.
Laurence Leamer is the author of thirteen books, including "The Kennedy Women and Fantastic: The Life of Arnold Schwarzenegger", with many bestsellers among them. Leamer was on the staff at "Newsweek", and has written for "The New York Times Magazine", "Harper's", "Playboy", and many other publications. He lives in Palm Beach and Washington, D.C.
