I anxiously awaited this one, but while there was a good story here somewhere, the adventure never really developed. It was a lot about the conflicting personalities of the people involved..........which is ok to some extent but the whole book was built on this.
This book was a must read for kayak lovers. I am not a huge kayaker and sometimes had a hard time picturing some of the scenes, which I'm sure to a serious kayaker were incredibly impressive. I did enjoy the adventure of the story and would recommend it overall.
