I have not finished this book, but I had to write a review. This is a must read. The characters were so alive, I even could hear them when I got out of my car. A beautiful study of women and their interactions.

I so enjoyed this read. The narrators made the book alive. Fabulous story of human nature, friendship, and being true to yourself. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Despite all the wonderful reviews since this title was released, I simply was not interested. I've joined the ranks. THE HELP is moving, eye-opening, and humbling. The readers were topnotch.

This book was so good. I was so disappointed when I finished it. I missed all the characters. I loved this book. It is one of the best books I have ever read.

An eye-opener

I heard the stories and I knew they were true. However, I didn't realize the depth of the demeaning human aspect of how middle class white women treated their colored maids; and how they passed this demeaning attitude on to their children whom were confused by all of it because the maids showed the children love where their parents didn't. Such a rich story with real heart and admirable characters.
