I am writing this review for my 8 year old daughter. She thinks "the book is just great". She truly enjoyed the different adventures that Henry had as a result of Ribsy. I wish I had read Cleary's books as a child. I had no idea what I was missing out on.

This is a great book. My young girls (4 and 6yrs) loved hearing what crazy escapades Henry was going get into next with his dog Ribsy. They cracked up at Henry’s green hair and Ribsy’s pink hair and the guppies procreation abilities (we have guppies at home too so we completely understood!). I recommend it highly.

My children, husband and I really enjoyed this book. It was such a fun story. My boys are ten and eight and were begging me to listen to more! Henry is just such an endearing boy. He gets himself into such problems, but comes out on the end a better person.
