Began as an interesting story but quit at disc 3 as way to much crude language for my taste.
I was turning into a HUGE Barr fan and was ready to build a statue to Anna Pigeon. Let's just say the plans for the fan club are still on, but not with as much zeal. About two to many twists and turns for my liking on this one. Good story, but it could have done with more development of one sub plot instead of the dropping of several little not so subtle twists. To many near misses to be even remotely believable, and while I read Barr to escape, I need it to be a little believable. I still can't wait for the next Anna Pigeon story, but now it is to take the taste of this one OUT of my mouth!
