Overview

The date is Saturday, April 2. Five April brides discover their wedding dresses have been stolen. One of the brides is private investigator Regan Reilly. Her wedding is in seven days.

Regan Reilly and her fiance Jack "no relation" Reilly -- head of the NYPD Major Case Squad -- are getting married! But when Regan arrives at the bridal salon to pick up her gown, she discovers the shop has been broken into, the designers bound and gagged, and her dress missing. Even though it's a week before her wedding, Regan gets on the case. Meanwhile, Jack is determined to solve a perplexing series of bank robberies before their nuptials.

Awful

I thought this book was awful - way below Ms. Clark's abilities and talent. The plot was thin, the characters undeveloped and out of place, and the whole thing was a real reach. For example, to think that a crime of this nature would make front-page news in NYC flies in the face of logic. Give me a break... I also think Ms. Clark should stick to writing and leave the reading to someone else.

This one was better!

I have both read and listened to other Regan Reilly mysteries. While I always enjoy the books, the audio versions have not been that great...this one was much better. I think the editing was done better as I didn't find this one as confusing when listening. Also, I think the author sounds much better doing the audio on this one. I would recommend it.
