She lives in a luxurious Manhattan apartment, has only the most sophisticated friends, and is desired by some of the most successful men in the country. She expects the best that life can offer—and will settle for nothing less. She has worked hard to achieve this life, and she will do anything to keep it.

My first read of James Patterson as I don't like particularly gory crimes and serial killer stories that give me nightmares. My sis-in-law recommended this one. I almost passed on it based on the epilogue- but glad I did not - I got hooked. I only listen on my 45 minute commute home, late at night- and some nights sat in my car to listen to a bit more.

The story line was pretty interesting. What I enjoyed the most was the two different narrators. I liked having the man read the male roles and the female reading the female roles. There was one element to the plot that surprised me. Overall a pretty good book to listen to.

This is less than sophomoric in plot and writing skills. Truly, I'd expect better from a high school sophomore .One might as well read a comic book. A real time waster.

The story was very good, but it did lag at times. The ending seemed to be rushed when other parts of the book went on in long details. The narrator was absolutely horrible. Early in the book, every male voice was read like it was an old man with a very rough voice; thereby, making you visualize every male as an elderly gentleman. The narrator's voice was like listening to someone reads The Three Bears to a young child. Toward the ends, some of the grumpy sounding old man voices faded out a little. I guess the narrator was getting tired. I have lived in Hagerstown all my life, and we do not have the heavy southern accent that was portrayed by the narrator. This title would have been a better book to just read; rather than, listen to on CD.

Honeymoon is very entertaining and it certainly is a very interesting "black widow" story. Really enjoyed the double life of the main character. Jo

I liked the book but I didn't like it as well as I usually like James Patterson. I can't explain it just wasn't up to par for me.
