Overview

A sizzling new thriller—hotter than THE BEACH HOUSE and scarier than KISS THE GIRLS.

FBI agent John O’Hara is on a hunt to find a coldblooded killer. A number of rich men have come to mysterious ends, and when a young writer dies of an alleged heart attack, John turns a probing eye to the only witness—the writer’s lovely and secretive widow. Nora Sinclair, a beautiful interior decorator, has the life most people can only dream about. She lives in a luxurious Manhattan apartment, has only the most sophisticated friends, and is desired by some of the most successful men in the country. She expects the best that life can offer—and will settle for nothing less. She has worked hard to achieve this life, and she will do anything to keep it.

This is the best I've heard yet with two narrators, one male and one female. It is very well read.

Honeymoon was a book that I couldn't stop listening to. Are there really women like Nora Sinclair out there? Some parts were hard to follow, but I so enjoyed the characters, John O'Hare, Nora, and Susan. I also enjoyed the narrators they really did a great job. I am just starting to listen to Patterson and have read his more sentimental books, which I love. This was very good and I would recommend it.

Good, but a little disappointed

I thought this book was very good and I was excited for the ending after the reviews I previously read. I was very, very disappointed! There were many unanswered questions and I called the ending at the beginning of the final disc. It was a good, easy read but I was very unimpressed with the ending.

Very different Patterson

I was a bit disappointed with this book. It didn't have that "hanging on the edge of your seat" feel to it. I would think that the other gentleman mentioned on the cover (Howard Roughan) is the main proponent on this one, because it's just NOT THAT GOOD. Why? I think because in the beginning, the reader/listener is already made aware who was the killer and why the killings are done. Little is left on the imagination, unlike the Cross series and the Women's Murder Club. One good thing about this though is that the female parts is read by a female, the male parts read by a male. I hate to say this about my now favorite author, but this story was shallow for me.

Fun to listen to

I am not a huge Patterson fan but this book has a lot going for it. It is still written more or less in the Patterson format, but I love the premise and it definitely kept me interested all the way to the end. I hate when books lose momentum and this one doesn't disappoint!

Great! Loved this one - especially good because Hope Davis and Campbell Scott were the readers and just did a great job. Suspenseful and fast paced.

I've always enjoyed James Patterson. While I certainly do not think this is his best book, it could have been worse. That being said, it was way under par for a James Patterson piece. I'll keep reading his books, I just hope the next one isn't as predictable as this one was.

Sizzling yes, but not worth any hype.

This was the stupidest story ever written. I am not sure if it was just the badly written dialog or if it was the reading of it out loud that made it unbearable. Worse was that I had to endure all of it only to find out the obvious ending.
