What a story, not many writers make you feel the story like Matthew Reilly. From the start to the end you are drawn into this amazing book, you feel every race, every corner. You become part of the crowd, part of the whole event. Jason Chaser becomes your own hero, you want him to win. This is such a story about the underdog, if you have the grit and stamina to push through, to go the extra mile, to believe in yourself when all doubt you, you can do anything. I loved this book, it was a journey of discovery, from this story I found a strength in me, a strength to try that little harder. To listen to it being read to you just enhances the enjoyment, if you want sheer escapism then read this, turn the world off, close your eyes and enjoy.
