Not an earth-shattering book for me, but I was able to listen to the whole thing and gain a few tips. I found it just ok, but I am not much for the self-help books anyway. Might be helpful to someone less social than me.

I was really looking forward to this book and it was awful!! The narrating was annoying and the book was written poorly. I could only bear to listen the part of the first CD, hoping that it would get better, and then finally stopped and sent it on its way. I would definitely not recommend this one!

My husband and I planned to listed to these cd's on the road but the reading was really poor and we listened to only 10 minutes of the first CD before we turned it off.

This lady's voice bothers me somehow -- seems sorta fake. Some of the male-female stuff toward the end was very good. If you're looking for a personal improvement book, try it.

SOME good points such as be conscince of your handshake. MANY horriable suggestions such as when you walk into a crouded room and you don't know anyone, say hi to strangers and make believe your friends with people who have never seen you. I'll let you know that a large portion of people out there can see through this fake supperficial facad and they'll think your more of a freak than if you were just your normal nervous self.

a good audiobook, but not great. the flow of the reader can get annoying, but there are some good techniques and it's a good way to jump-start yourself out of a recent slump.

I think the subject matter was decent enough, but I couldn't get past the annoying author/reader long enough to get the message. Her annoying and overly dramatic style bordered on hysteria. She's more of a people repellant than a people magnet, which makes me afraid to follow her advice...

Author / reader uses a lot of personal experience to illustrate the techniques of overcoming the obstacles of relationships; new, developing, male / female, failing, business, social, and love crossed. Some discussion about networking. Good points, but no self-help saving graces.
