Very helpful for socially inept people like me, but the narrator's voice brings to mind a deranged great-aunt type.

Wow! The narrator was so annoying that I listened to the first three "tricks" and sent it back. I thought the first three "tricks" were silly. You might as well take this one out of your library!

There were a few good hints in this book but I could not even finish listening to it--the narrator reads in a very sing-song, annoying voice.

You'll find a few good pointers in this book, but most of it is common sense.

The tips she gave could be very helpful, but her voice and inflection made it seem she was speaking to a group of elementary school students.

Basic tricks for small talk

I found about half the tricks mentioned in this book useful for small talk. A shy person would like this book, if you are already an extrovert, you may find the information not useful for you.

No need for this book to be available. Maybe a woman in the late 50s might have found it useful. Now? No way. The narrator's voice-tone-inflection is unbearable. Don't do it.

The author's narration is overly dramatic. Her tips are repetitive. I could not get beyond the first CD.
