Some things might run in families but humor apparently isn't one of them. I am a HUGE fan of David Sedaris (and Amy Vowell) but this book just annoyed me. It was like listening to Martha Stewart trying too hard to try to be funny. She has one schtick - and she flogs it over & over. This is among the few books I couldn't finish. She might like me - but by midway through, I hated her.

If you like David Sedaris you will enjoy this. Different twist but of a similar mind. Amy does an excellent perfomance of reading the book and you can feel the passion in her voice when she strikes a point home. Necessary reading if you love rabbits! Most recipe's are basic but most simple parties are basic. I recommend it but not for all. Read "Me talk pretty one day" first.

A combination of party suggestions, helpful hints on almost everything, and recipes. Mostly intended to be humorous, but sometimes just silly and only partially successful. I haven't tried the recipes.
