That’s about all that was good about this book. Stephen Lang is an excellent narrator. I have heard him before and enjoy his readings. But even his skills could not save this lame book. What could have potentially been an excellent story just left me wanting in so many ways. Story lines cut short, weak if any detail on the inner workings of submarines and most of all lack of charter development – in a big way. As I write this I can’t tell you the name of even one character in the book. Admittedly I have a bad memory but not that bad. I just hope it’s bad enough that I can forget ever reading this book !!!
"Patrick Robinson was born in Kent, England. He has worked as a journalist and in publishing, and is the author of a number of nonfiction titles, including Admiral Sir Sandy Woodward's account of the Falklands War, One Hundred Days. Mr. Robinson has homes in Ireland and on Cape Cod."
