Loved it! I really like the way David Eddings writes.
This is the first book in a continuation series by David Eddings. I thoroughly enjoyed the first series (5 books)and was hopeful that the characters would be the same in this saga- they were. I have completed this series as well and I feel that it has lived up to the first. Some people might not like the fact that it is very parallel to the first, but I still enjoyed it. It does not have the continuous action that a lot of fantasy authors have, but character and plot development keep me hooked. I am very sorry that this ended David Eddings writings of Belgarath and his crew because I feel as though I knew them like a family due to the quality writing style of the author and reading style of Cameron Bierely.
