Better than you might expect

The whole mystical secrets genre mostly leaves me cold, and I thought Da Vinci Code was meretricious junk, but Labyrinth provides enough colorful historical detail and interesting personalities to make it worthwhile. The characters are a tad confusing at first but once you get through the first couple of chapters it all falls into place and the people become understandable and intriguing. Definitely a good listen.

Richly complex

This is a GREAT novel that sucks you right in from the beginning. If you love books like The Da Vinci Code and other tales with magnificent layers, this is for you!

This is not a book for sissys. It takes you back and forth so you have to be on your toes. I like a book that makes you think and is also entertaining. This is it. A good read.

SOOO BAD.. I made it through four cds before sending them all back. It was slow and dumb and BAD, such an awful book to listen to, and BORING.

This was my first audio book, which has set the bar for all others after, which is pretty high ! The reader has a GREAT reading voice and the writing is superb! The book keeps you guessing. I am anxious to she what else the author has to oofer.

I rented this book and sent it back because I couldn't get through the first disk. It was really slow. Then, I forgot I rented the book and I went out and bought book on CD. So now having spent the money, I had to listen to it. The book is interesting enough if you can keep track of all the characters. The plot line is split into medieval times and present. That wasn't really necessary. The book could have been half as long and the plot would have been just as good, better in fact, because the split story line device is really annoying. And the payoff at the end isn't nearly worth the amount of words it took to get there. But, the story does what any good audio book does, which is keep me entertained during my two-hour commute every day.
