Overview

Virginia loves her life, living on the farm. But what troubles her is the gradual physical decline in Grandma Marty and Grandpa Clark. And their lovely daughter Mindy, who has blessed their home ever since her mother left the tiny child with them, has prayed for that mother all these years. Is God answering that prayer, or is the worst nightmare any family could face now upon them?

This story touched on so many things I could relate to - aging relatives, raising children, adoption, family relationships. I found it very real, very engaging, and very comforting.

An excellant story, about how sometimes things do not seem to be going well, and how children can have a perception spiritually---- far beyond their years. Although very sad in some parts, "all things turn out for good, for those who love God and are called according to His purpose," is very true in this book. And how the family's dependence upon God brings them through a crisis and turns it into good. Very uplifting story.
