Kind of a slow story. Not bad, but the voice of the one of the characters was so annoying to listen to, it was hard not to skip ahead.

I really enjoyed this book. I like the Detective and his way of doing business. His use of his skills form the P.D. and his personal character are what makes this book so much fun. I have requested more books by this author. If you like Detective stories, you will enjoy this book.

I absolutely loved this story and I had already read the book! I realized I had already read it when I first started listening to the CD; however, after a few minutes I was drawn back into the story, even though I know how it turns out! I love Harry Bosch--he's a great character and this story kept me interested with all its twists and turns. Of course, it helps that it's such a Los Angeles story and I am so familar with every street and area mentioned in the story.

Harry Bosch is the kind of character that comes alive as you listen. He finds that working as a private detective presents problems that he had never considered previously. This is a fast-paced adventure which keeps you coming back for more.
