Stories so boring only the mothers of the people involved could enjoy them. I couldn't make it past the second CD.
I REALLY wished this was going to be read by Mike Shannon himself. He has such a great way with words and the delivery in which he tells his stories are priceless. These CD's however, are narrated by someone not as exciting as Mike, I'll put it that way. About 1 in every 3 stories are really good. If you are a baseball diehard, this is worth the time.
Mike Shannon is the editor of "Spitball: The Literary Baseball Magazine" and the author of five baseball books.
