I liked what I heard, but the CD was so scratched.........
Good ideas are buried under a somewhat flashy radio interview format. But it's easy listening - so hang in there and learn! I have been in Fortune 100 B2B sales for 10 years and still managed to pick up some great ideas. The underlying message is pretty simple too - give before you get. Caution: The author assumes that you are already a pro in your field. The content is targeted at competent professionals who are ready to take it up a notch.
This was a good book for ideas. It is maily directed at self employeed people or sales people. That said it was not a waste of time and had some revelent ideas for your stand corp guy.
It is always pleasant to find a read that gives you clear examples that are immediately translatable into real time action with immediately results. I am off to buy the unabridged, full printed copy.
Very good listen. Seems that all of his books always leave me asking how? I wish I could just have them tell me how in less than 1000 words. Jumpy, but still a great listen. Gets you excited to do something.
I thought this was a great book. I enjoyed the discussion with the author format. Great recomend for anyone interested in any type of networking!
