Overview

A novel about holding on, letting go, and learning to love again.

Now in paperback, the endearing novel that captured readers' hearts and introduced a fresh new voice in women's fiction -- Cecelia Ahern.

Holly couldn't live without her husband Gerry, until the day she had to. They were the kind of young couple who could finish each other's sentences. When Gerry succumbs to a terminal illness and dies, 30-year-old Holly is set adrift, unable to pick up the pieces. But with the help of a series of letters her husband left her before he died and a little nudging from an eccentric assortment of family and friends, she learns to laugh, overcome her fears, and discover a world she never knew existed.

The kind of enchanting novel with cross-generational appeal that comes along once in a great while, PS, I Love You is a captivating love letter to the world!

Certainly not the best book I've read, but it was entertaining enough.

Very good, very touching, very hopeful and sprinkled with laughter and sadness. If you have ever lost someone that you loved, you'll get it and like it!

Don't bother

I was very disappointed. I wasn't impressed with the narrator and the book was so corny at times I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't recommend it.

Good But Sad

Good But Sad. Death at such a young age and going through the steps of the young widow. The story would have been MUCH better with a different ending. It was just one of those let downs with no real closure at the end.

P.S., I love you

Although the other reviews of this book looked promising, I did not enjoy this book. It wasn't really deep enough to make you think too much about the situation, and it wasn't light enough to float over the sad points.

Very Sweet! I listened to this when it first came out and ordered not realizing. I got the book and after about 2 words, I realized that it was a repeat. Had I not had a 4 hour road trip, I would have returned it immediately. I am so glad that I did not. It was not at all time wasted. This book is sweet and adorable. It is about love, friendship, family, humor and surviving it all. It is well worth the listen. Enjoy!

Sweetly sad. I enjoyed this novel very much although at times the narrator's voice bugged me. Wonderfully written and I hated to get out of the car.

After the first couple of minutes I wanted to turn off the book, but I kept going and I'm so glad I did. The story is very sweet, realistic and well written.

I really enjoyed this book. It was hilarious and heart-wrenching at the same time. I listen to these books on my hour long trip to work and then again coming home. I never wanted to be on the road so much as I did listening to this book.
