Overview

Led by his guide Beatrice, Dante leaves the Earth behind and soars through the heavenly spheres of Paradise. In this third and final part of The Divine Comedy, he encounters the just rulers and holy saints of the Church. The horrors of Inferno and the trials of Purgatory are left far behind. Ultimately, in Paradise, Dante is granted a vision of God's Heavenly court-the angels, the Blessed Virgin and God Himself. Unabridged in a new translation by Benedict Flynn. With music of the period.

Very nice reading of a difficult title. Don't miss this one.

The Inferno was fascinating, but Paradise was insipid. I'm not sure what lesson should be taken from this.

Part of a classic novel, i really wanted to check out this book. Unfortunately u listen to these books while commuting or multi-tasking so thins book in particular, because of the old writing style sems to be a bit hard for me fto comprehend and feel it would be better to (for me) to actually read it rather than listen to it to help me soak it all in.
