Excellent book for the business minded. Read by the author and included various corporate merger details.
The book was interesting but I got the feeling Sumner was just trying to superficially prove how smart he was. It did not include many details about his strategy and how he deployed it. Therefore, the book did not have much useful educational material.
This book presents Redstone as he really is. The guts of success and failure at the highest levels of business shine through.
The book is not the typical stupid how to business book. Rather, its the story of Viacom. I highly recommend this one.
Sumner provides a good perspective on how he rose from successful to super-successful in the media world. His candidness comes through more than most books as he narrates it himself.
