I usually love Rita Mae Brown's novels and the adventures of Mrs. Murphy and the gang but, I have to say, I couldn't even get beyond the 2nd cd. WAY too much detail and MUCH too much "horse" information. Read like a text book. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

Really enjoyed this book as the setting was in Kentucky around Saddlebred horses. I loved how information regarding this wonderful breed and the whole show circuit was woven into the story. Having the cats and dogs speak was also very entertaining. I found myself not wanting to get out of the car and turn off the tape when I reached my destination each day.
