Although I usually enjoy lectures from Chautauqua, I found this particular title to be rather dry. On several occassions, I found my mind drifting while listening to the book in the car. At some point, I finally just turned it off. The lecturer doesn't provide anything new or profound to the discussion of religion and world politics. The punchline just seems to be you've got to include religion in the topic when considering world politics. (Duh!) You could say I am a post-9/11 cynic, but unfortunately I have believed the infusion of religion in a proper discussion of politics well before that tragic event. I rate this a "pass"
