The only way this book could have been better is if it was longer. Marianne Williamson is a spiritual power hitter. She nails every concept presented in the book with uncanny precision. I'm new to CIM, but after listening to this book, I feel that I know it and understand it - it represents what I've known all along. Marianne's style is refreshing. She has an amazing grasp on the subject matter. Her voice and inflection are a rarity in nonfiction audio books - so easy to listen to, almost spellbinding.

I read this book five years ago and it literally changed my life. Basic concept that everything we do or react to is out of fear or love and that by understanding this you realize that your emotional state is not created by others actions but out of either your fear or love of what those actions mean. Rented the tape as a refresher and was worth it, but took away more from reading the book the first time around.

I think the content is great. I thought the narration was a bit bland. I sent it back and am currently reading the book, which is excellent.
