A Real Disappointment

Written by Robb Odom on June 13th, 2008

  • Book Rating: 1/5

The author makes the ridiculous claim that Reagan was following liberal policies in an attempt to bolster his own views. Do not make the same mistake I did, leave this one alone.

A mess of a book. I stopped listening after about an hour. The author goes far afield with his own (irrational) theories of various political issues rather than sticking with the subject: Ronald Reagan. There are much better Reagan biographies to be had, including Peggy Noonan's books.

It is a Reagan Bash

Unfortunately, the book was about how much the author doesn't like Reagan. Even worse, the dislike did not seemed to be based on any real solid facts but rather more on a difference in principle.

For those that like to understand the man Ronald Reagan and all he stood for this book is it. Well written and read the story is an account of Ronald Reagan and what made him one of America's favorite presidents.
