Overview

With a bit of last summer’s sand in the pockets, the Traveling Pants and the Sisterhood that wears them embark on their 16th summer.
Bridget: Impulsively sets off for Alabama, wanting to both confront her demons about her family and avoid them all at once.
Lena: Spends a blissful week with Kostos, making the unexplainable silence that follows his visit even more painful.
Carmen: Is concerned that her mother is making a fool of herself over a man. When she discovers that her mother borrowed the Pants to wear on a date, she’s certain of it.
Tibby: Not about to spend another summer working at Wallman’s, she takes a film course only to find it’s what happens off-camera that teaches her the most.

I loved the movie of the first book. I was not as impressed with this one. It may have been due to the abridgment.

It takes me back...

I could be one of the mothers in this book, but it helps me remember when I wasn't a mother. I am thoroughly enjoying this series. I would have enjoyed the unabridged version much better had there been one.

I thought this was great. It was a bit short. I wish there was an unabridged version. Can't wait to hear the 3rd in the series.

Ugh - Abriged!

I LOVE these books - but the abridged version of this one is just too short. I could tell I was really missing huge parts of the story and I kepy getting angry because I wanted to know what happened. That being said, I still love these books and can't wait to "read" the next one - which is unabridged! Yay!

I hadn't read the first book, nor had i seen the movie, but this book was entertaining in spite of all that. Characters are easy to love and I thought it was a fun book that didn't make one think too much.

I enjoyed the first book way better then this one. I was disappointed. It seemed as though it was skipping over parts. I can't remember if it was abridged. I really hope so because that would explain it.

I did not enjoy this one as much as the first. I found that the book moved to quickly from middle to end. I would have liked a bit more development on charactures.

I did not read the first book...I saw the movie...which I enjoyed. I thought I would really enjoy this continuation of the story, but I was not that impressed with the story and did not feel in touch with any of the characters.

I have absolutely loved every book in this series! Even being twice the age of the characters I felt there was a little something in each of them that I could identify with or could see in a friend which made the characters & their stories so loveable!
