Overview

Hailey Ashton projects an image that she's on top of everything, but no one realizes that she lives a life of quiet emptiness -- not ready to have a relationship, not willing to give herself body and soul to a man.

Never able to compete with her younger sister, the thoughtless beauty of the family, Hailey opted to be the "good girl." But when she meets Tyler Scott -- her rich, attractive new boss -- she longs to be anything but good. She wants to be chic, smart, and savvy.

Tyler is self-assured with women. But when it comes to being a father, he's got a lot to learn. Hailey Ashton seems perfect. His attraction to her is so powerful he wants her in his arms -- as well as in his daughter's life.

In Seduction by Design, Hailey and Tyler discover that relationships don't happen on demand -- and trust must be earned as Hailey faces the challenges that forever change what a woman thinks, who she is, whom she loves.

Not a bad book, but definitely not my favorite. The plot is weak, and the ending predictable.

The book started out very interesting, but I became bored near the end. As mentioned by other reviewers, her lack of self-esteem became irritating. And some of the "chance meetings" made the timing a poor choice. Not one of my favorite books.

The love making got too long. Very predictable. Basically it went nowhere.

I love most all of Sandra Browns books, however this book was such a bore. If this was the first book of hers that I read (listened to) it would have been the last. Found myself longing for it to end.

This book was ok. 2 out of 5 CDs were scratch and not one of the best listening experiences. The story dragged and did not hold my interest.

Overall, it's alright...textbook Sandra Brown story. Hailey's lack of self esteem can be very annoying at times but you'll get over it. I liked the "single father" dynamic. Many stories concentrate on single mother's whose husband have died tragically, but I like the twist on how fathers relate to daughters. This story is a bit "saccharine" like your usual romance novel, but it's a good listen.

A good read.

This is a good love story. It is a wonderful look at single parenthood and relationships built around them. Sandra Brown is a great novelist.

I live close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It was exciting to hear a story based on an area I know. The review and the description of this book, doesn't do it justice! It was extra fun to imagine I was in Dollywood when the reader was describing the park.
