I thought the book provided a very high level overview of Six Sigma without any specifics. If you are looking for a very introductory segway into Six Sigma then this books is for you.

Not what I expected

This book talked alot about what six sigma can do, but I felt it didn't adequately explain how to implement such a system. Seemed more like a long drawn out introduction with a few high level examples.

Dull, lightweight, and non-specific

Could you use more words to get simple, common sense principles accross in a more general, and nebulous manner? I think not! The book is uselessly vague, and comes across more like a pitch to get you interested in Six Sigma, rather than any sort of how-to entry into Six Sigma. Should have went for 1. heres what it is & why you should use it, and then begun describing the key principles. Instead, two discs into the book they are still focusing on why you should buy into the process. Which leads me to wonder... does Six Sigma always require such a pitch to get anyone to try? If so, I'll avoid any future attempts at understanding what it is.
