Song of the Road

Marilee never thought she'd see Cross Roads, New Mexico again. But when her husband dies she finds herself on the road home, pregnant and penniless, only to discover that her father has been dead for six months and her mother hasn't been sober since. With nothing and no-one to fall back on, Marilee determines to make a good life for herself by fixing up the family's Wayside 66 Motor Court, now rundown and overrun by outlaws. But bootlegger Jeb Pierce has other ideas and Marilee will be forced to endanger herself and those she loves in her fight to claim back what is hers....
