Overview

David Bach has a plan to help you live and finish rich--no matter where you start

So you feel like you've started late?
You are not alone.
What if I told you that right now as you flip through this book, 70% of the people in the store with you are living paycheck to paycheck?
What if I told you that the man browsing the aisle to your left owes more than $8,000 in credit card debt? And the woman on your right has less than $1,000 in savings?
See? You're really not alone.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of people who've saved too little and borrowed too much will never catch up financially. Why? Because they don't know how.
You can start late and finish rich--but you need a plan.
This book contains the plan. It's inspiring, easy to follow, and is based on proven financial principles. Building a secure financial future for yourself isn't something you can do overnight. It will take time and it will take work. But you can do it. Just because you started late doesn't mean you are doomed to an uncertain future. Whether you're in your thirties, forties, fifties, or beyond, there is still time to turn things around. It's never too late to live and finish rich. All it takes is the decision to start.

--David Bach

The author David Bach is obviously a motivational speaker. I like listening to his book, this one is my favorite of the two I have listened to. I feel like this one would be a good gift to give some of my friends. It gets you thinking and inspired. I am going to try and put some of his inspiring ides to work in my life!

Don't waste your time!!!! This book comes off as a late, late night, used car infomercial complete with the "it's so easy" line every three minutes. The author seems to have ripped off one of the best books ever written on this subject, George Clason's "The Richest Man in Babylon", copyright 1955 and he did it poorly.

This book was great. I am a financial advisor by trade and I listen to a lot of books to get ideas I can pass on to others. Most of them are a big yawn. This book covers many of the same simple topics, but Dave really inspires the listener. It doesn't matter how much you know, if you can't motivate people to change your knowledge is useless. Good job David.

I enjoyed this book. I was already familiar with many of the techniques, in terms of knowing what they were, but Bach took the time to go into detail. It helped to get an explanation for those of us who won't really ask questions at work and in certain seminars at the risk of appearing out of it, or just plain dumb! Also, there are many experts the 'preach' the pros of many of the income generating techniques but fail to go into the cons. I thought Bach did an extra good job of getting into this. I'd recommend this book for people with basic knowledge of making money in real estate and other investments, but would appreciate more insight.

This book took WAY too long to make some really BASIC points. It's better to buy a house than rent. REALLY? Put money in your 401K. REALLY? Don't waste money on fast food? GOLLY! It made some good points, but alot of it was not really rocket science. I guess that is part of the book. It's not hard, it just takes discipline. Most of which I was already doing.
